Transiting M-dwarf Planets


Low-mass, Earth-like planets are mostly found orbiting low-mass, late-type stars, especially M dwarfs in the local neighbourhood. The table below lists all transiting planets around nearby M dwarfs with measured mass (TMP for short). You can download the TMP table with all necessary parameters in csv format and an ascii column-by-column description here:

Originally, we used as a basis the latest version of the catalogue of physical properties of transiting planetary systems (TEPCat) of Southworth 2011MNRAS.417.2166S and the list of planets around M dwarfs of Martínez-Rodríguez et al. 2019ApJ...887..261M, together with the most recent refereed publications (including a few unpublished planets - with curtailed information). Afterwards, in the latest releases we mostly used exoplanet.eu and the NASA exoplanet archive. The selection criteria were: In general, we tabulate parameters from the original sources. The transmission and emission spectroscopic metrics (TSM and ESM) were computed homogeneously by us from the most recent data as in Kempton et al. 2018PASP..130k4401K only for rocky planets with R < 2.0 R and assuming μ = 18 amu and a 0.190 scale factor. In the summary html table below, we list the most relevant derived planet parameters and links to Simbad, CARMENES GTO (private), exoplanet.eu and ExoFOP-TESS. References in boldface are CARMENES-led.
